Pietro was born and raised in Italy on the island of Ischia, next to the island of Capri, which is located in the Gulf of Naples. His family moved to Norwalk, Connecticut when he was 15 years old. Later in 1974, he moved to San Diego and has been in the restaurant business since. Most dishes he serves are traditional southern Italian- and an occasional northern Italian dish as well. You can find him nightly at the restaurant, both cooking in the kitchen as well as mingling in the dining room to make sure his loyal and new patrons are completely satisfied and enjoying their dining experience.
